Sign on the Door Poster – Signed by Jason Redman

(13 customer reviews)

Put your mission top-of-mind … and everyone else on notice.

Jason Redman knows all about what he has dubbed the “Overcome Mindset.” He first gained national recognition following the 2007 enemy ambush in Iraq that nearly killed him and forced the career-bound Navy SEAL officer to redefine his life mission.

During his initial stage of recovery at Bethesda Naval Medical Center, he penned on vibrant-orange poster board a no-nonsense message of relentless optimism, putting others on notice that he authoritatively rejected condescending attitudes and negativity and vowing to make a full recovery — and then some — despite the profound adversity, the daunting odds, the disheartening array of grim prognoses he faced and the attitudes of anyone who doubted his ability to do so.

A photo of the poster hung on his door went viral, and Jason’s message immediately became famous as “The Sign on the Door.”

The original now hangs as a permanent fixture for the inspirational sake of generations of wounded veterans, their loved ones and others worldwide on a mission to “overcome.” But you can hang your own 11″ x 17″ signed replica anywhere you’d like!

(And we think you should, definitely!)

Matte finish; signed by Jason “Overcome” Redman; shipped with relentless belief in you.

My sign was crushed in shipping by the coffee mug. The sign was not put in a full tube to protect it. I emailed, never got a response.

Your red sign put into words a very basic fundamental philosophy, that I adopted many decades ago. I refuse to be victim and I refuse to feel sorry for myself. I take responsibility for my actions and accept the consequences. That’s what men do. You may have been born a male, that doesn’t make you a man. You have to earn that title. You sir are a man, and your sign exemplifies what it means to be a man.

you want me a piss ant that did not serve (Vietnam Ariborne/tech half bro of 60 yrs, Navy late dad, Vietnam Green Beret cousin, Navy nephew. you want me to review the HERO and PROTECTOR that is Jason Redman? i can not do that i so far from worthy. I can say thank you and know without a doubt that thank is and will never be enough to say to you and our nations fighting forces. i almost lost my business of 20 yrs at the time over 10 yrs ago because of someone i did bus with for many yrs. due to their improper actions (nice word) involving VA hospital lease financings. Yes i said VA hospital leases, disgusting to still think they did it where Va hospitals were involved. As always i am bored talking about me (piss ant) but mentioned the VA issue for a specific reason. As a result of finally reaching out to God almighty and taking his hand to heal me and yes apply the stories and examples of our troops (like your incredible life ) to my recovery i have healed in a big way and have been working on a 3 projects (bus ideas) to generate some of the profits for Veterans with PTSD issues and who deal with Downs syndrome. May you trust in God at all times and your family be protected by God all your many days and may you thoroughly enjoy the freedom you helped provide of the greatest country in the world. Mr. Redman (Sir) thank you will never be enough. Until Christ returns USA!!! Thank you lance

Had Jason’s signed poster framed. My grandson and I met Jason on Memorial Day @ the UDT/SEAL museum to let him know his Sign on the Door is hanging on my grandson’s bedroom door. Your customer service is first rate. Great message Jason!

“Failure is not falling down but refusing to get up.”Lt.’s ‘Sign On The Door’ is a constant reminder of who we need to be so we know where we want to go.`…Failure is not an option! I purchased two with one getting wet from curious eyes on the tube it came in…No problem tho.Lt. also is signing a Navy SEAL flag for my disabled son.A finer man,’Brother’ and Navy SEAL you wont find anywhere. As soon as i can i will be taking his courses. We all get ambushed either by combat or in our personal lives, sometimes in both cases. Help support his mission and learn how to get off the ‘X’
    Sincerely
    Jeff Halsey

Thank you. Came w/in 3 business days of order. Got extra one to give away to friend. Thank you for your service and bravery. And thank all other veterans, combat veterans, active duty and families of active and past veterans. Was fortunate to enjoy 5th grade living on Rendova Cir on NAB. Was beyond fun. The water is very cold off Coronado. Blue balls w/in 15 minutes is how I remember it. Thank you. Everyone Overcome.

  13. Stone cold

I just received line a couple days ago. I was able to put it in a frame and I put it in my gym somewhere where I need to draw strength when I don’t feel like pushing through or maybe I get down on myself because I didn’t have a great day, I believe this to give me a boost sometimes when you need it after reading about Jason Redman‘s story I knew I had to own one actually I own too if you don’t have yours or you know somebody that maybe they could use us to push through a rough time in their life or just a realize what it must’ve took to write this and have to go through what he went through thank you Jason Redman for all your sacrifices and I think everybody that is a veteran for their service.
